minnesota business leaders from technology to healthcare were among the nine Minnesotans to win Heartland Awards in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year competition.
The winners were recognized at an EY gala on June 9 at The Fillmore in downtown Minneapolis.
“EY has honored the curiosity, ingenuity, courage and drive of unstoppable entrepreneurs since 1986, and we are proud to continue the tradition this year by celebrating this outstanding group of leaders,” said Dominic Iannazzo, EY Partner and Co-Director of heartland. , in a written statement.
The EY Heartland region includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. In addition to the nine winners from Minnesota, EY also selected a winner from Missouri.
EY says the winners were “evaluated based on their long-term demonstration of value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.”
Executives from 11 other Minnesota companies were finalists for the award.
