Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has announced that its membership program has been enhanced and updated with a variety of business add-ons to further encourage and enable entrepreneurship in the Emirate.
The membership updates include:
- An unlimited number of trade licenses business registrations per member, which was originally one license per entrepreneur
- Fewer age restrictions, with anyone 21 or older being viable for membership in the Khalifa Fund; membership renewals have been extended from three times to seven times per company
- No restrictions on access to membership based on company age, where previously a trade license older than five years was not valid for membership offers.
Alia Al Mazrouei, CEO, Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, stated:: “At Khalifa Fund, we are constantly striving to identify new methods that will support the UAE’s entrepreneurial infrastructure and further enhance the ecosystem. Through our new membership program, entrepreneurs will have the capacity to make groundbreaking and innovative offerings that will encourage further enterprise development and make business practices more accessible and efficient.
Many improvements have been made and are now available to existing and new members. Effective immediately, entrepreneurs will have the capacity to register an unlimited number of companies for membership in Khalifa Fund. In addition, membership renewals have more than doubled, with entrepreneurs being able to renew seven times, and there are no restrictions on company age either; previously trading licenses over five years old were not available for the Khalifa Fund membership program.”
Al Mazrouei added: “A key aspect of our membership growth is to make entrepreneurship more accessible to people, and as youth development is an important part of our focus, I am delighted to extend Khalifa Fund membership to any entrepreneur from 21 years and older. ”

Khalifa Fund has supported more than 23,000 entrepreneurs and will continue to help SMEs through its enhanced membership program.
The new Membership Enhancement offers are applicable to all entrepreneurs in the UAE who meet the existing Khalifa Fund criteria.
In other news, Khalifa Fund has officially announced the launch of its e-commerce acceleration program. It is a training program that focuses on helping entrepreneurs with their e-commerce capabilities.
The program helps deliver real results that impact the entrepreneur’s bottom line, generate profits, increase brand awareness and improve customer engagement.
