Mayor Relaunches New Jobs Program for Young People in Bronx, Brooklyn

A new pilot program in the Bronx aims to increase enrollment and employment to create more youth employment

Mayor Eric Adams today called for jobs New Yorkers can build their lives around instead of walking on dead ends. The new job training regime aims to revitalize and realign enrollment for current job needs.

Eligible students ages 16 to 24 can currently receive job training and opportunities at 121 Job Corps centers across the US, two of which are in New York City – one in the South Bronx and the other in Brooklyn.
