TEDCO organizes technology fair for disadvantaged entrepreneurs

TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for tech companies, is hosting a free technology show at The Hotel at the University of Maryland Monday at 9 a.m.

The organization created the fair to connect entrepreneurs and small business owners in every industry from underserved Maryland communities with technology companies, resources, training and networking opportunities to grow their businesses. US Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship Chairman Ben Cardin (D-Md.) worked closely with TEDCO to create the scholarship and he will deliver a keynote address.

John Fleming, mid-Atlantic regional administrator for the US Small Business Administration (SBA), will speak about the SBA and the resources provided to small businesses in the region. Troy LeMaile-Stovall, CEO of TEDCO, hosts the Tech Fair.

TEDCO Committed to Delivering Resources from Major Tech Companies – Growing with Google, Meta, TikTok, Square, Microsoft, eBay, PayPal, Amazon Web Services, Amazon, and Others Announced – to Small Businesses Looking to Expand Their Footprint and Future increase sales. The fair will allow companies to learn about professional development training, online sales platforms, advertising techniques, cloud services and more. Women and diverse startup founders and business owners who have historically been understaffed by the entrepreneurial ecosystem are encouraged to attend and share the news about the free fair with their networks.
