“Massachusetts is home to the best people, innovation and know-how in the world, and it will be our next governor’s job to use these resources to grow our economy,” Healey said.
Healey spoke at the Verizon Innovation Center in Boston, a technology-based workspace on the 15th and 16th floors of the Hub Causeway, where Verizon employees demonstrated to the future governor what the communications company is working on at their research and development site.
Healey seemed impressed with the breadth of what was on display during her short tour, from the latest robotics to facial recognition and photo spotting technology, as well as virtual and augmented reality products, saying it is a perfect showcase of what she says it will grow the economy of the state.
“The Verizon Innovation Center is a great example of how we can do this. As governor, I will be committed to creating spaces where the greatest minds in our tech industry can come together to take their ideas to the next level,” she said.
